Architecture Decision Records¶
Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) document significant technical decisions made for the fzymgc-house cluster. Each record captures the context, decision, and consequences to provide a historical record of architectural choices.
What is an ADR?¶
An ADR captures an architecturally significant decision along with its context and consequences. ADRs help:
- Document the reasoning behind decisions
- Communicate decisions to team members and future maintainers
- Track the evolution of the system architecture
ADR Template¶
New ADRs should follow this structure:
# ADR-NNNN: Title
## Status
[Proposed | Accepted | Deprecated | Superseded by ADR-XXXX]
## Context
What is the issue that we're seeing that is motivating this decision?
## Decision
What is the change that we're proposing and/or doing?
## Consequences
What becomes easier or more difficult because of this decision?
